One of the greatest benefits of joining Pet Partners of Las Vegas is we provide opportunities for you to shadow experienced teams before you begin with your own pet. Sometimes you think one type of educational or healthcare environment is where you want to volunteer. But then when you observe several visits, you may realize it is not for you or your pet. If the human is not comfortable, that energy travels right down the lead to your pet. This weekend we have several potential handlers joining a large group visit. Let’s see if they can envision themselves there. This is especially important if you have a pet other than a dog as there may be a limited choice of assignments that welcome the cats or guinea pigs etc. So please check out your options well in advance so you have a realistic goal.
