We had our last visit for the semester with some of our most special children this week. They are living with unique challenges and the growth we have witnessed since our visits is extraordinary. Children who were afraid of Benny now come over readily for a hug and a kiss. Children who did not speak are reading the little action cards we work with and following the instructions. There is such joy and learning in the room. But what we appreciate the most is the engagement of the teachers and staff. They are true advocates for the children and assist us in so many ways so we can harness the power of the animal. We have a few summer school visits coming up and will meet a other classes as well. Thank you Helen Marie Smith ES for welcoming our program into your school and we so look forward to next year.
